- 1 Wasserkuppe - The highest mountain in the Rhön is on the doorstep.
- 2 Guckaisee - The lake is located southwest of the Wasserkuppe in a valley floor between Eube and Pferdskopf and is the only natural lake in the mountains, probably the result of a brook that was dammed up by landslides. The lake is divided into two areas for bathers and boaters. The parking lot at the lake is also a popular starting point for hikes to the neighboring mountains.
