Economy

The Nowy Tomyśl Poviat is known for the cultivation of hops and wicker, which depend on natural and historical conditions. In the second half of the 19th century, hop from Nowy Tomyśl became known throughout Europe and was a source of income and the basis of prosperity for many inhabitants of the city and its vicinity.
