Zduńska Wola County - poviat in Poland in the central-western part of the Lodz voivodeship mainly in Wysoczyzna Łaska and in the Sieradz Valley.

The poviat was created in 1999 as part of the administrative reform.
After 1945 and before 1999, there was no Zduńska Wola poviat, only Zduńska Wola itself was one of 5 cities separated with poviat rights, including Pabianice, Piotrkow Trybunalski, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, ZgierzIt has an area of ​​369.24 km², which is 2.03% of the area of ​​the Łódź Province. It is inhabited by 68,098 inhabitants (according to the Central Statistical Office as of June 30, 2012), which means that the population density is 184.55 people / km².
The city is the center of the district Zdunska Wola, with 43,998 inhabitants, i.e. 64.6% of the poviat's population (coordinates of the poviat's capital 51 ° 35′55 ″ N 18 ° 56′15 ″ E). It covers the following cities: Zduńska Wola (municipal commune), and Szadek (urban-rural commune) and 2 rural communes: Zapolice and Zduńska Wola.
Rivers flow through the district Guard and WidawkaThe commune occupies the northern part of the poviat Szadekand the southern commune Zapolice. The southwestern part of the county is occupied by Miedzyrzecz Warta and Widawka Landscape Park.

The poviat has a favorable communication location, two railway routes of national importance - a railway line - intersect here WarsawŁódźWroclaw and the Śląsk - Ports railroad. The national road connecting Warsaw and Wrocław runs through the poviat.

A number of tourist routes have been marked out in the poviat.

  • The trail "In the middle of Poland" (bicycle, blue signs) leads, among others through the Locomotives Open-Air Museum in Karsznice, historic churches in Szadek and Korczewo, manor and park complexes and museum chambers in Wojsławice and Prusinowiceas well as a forest reserve "Jamno" and the courtyard park in Dziadkowice with a linden tree with a circumference of approx. 10 m.
