Geographical notes
It borders the Guadalajara province to the north, with theAragon (province of Teruel) to the north-east, with the Valencian community (province of Valencia) to the southeast, with the provinces of Albacete south, of Ciudad Real southwest, of Toledo to the west and with the autonomous community of Madrid to the northwest.

- 1 Alarcón - Located on a promontory with a beautiful medieval fortress of Muslim origin built in the 8th century.
- 2 Belmonte - With its 15th century Gothic castle and a collegiate church of the same period and style.
- 3 Casasimarro - City of the seventeenth century, therefore relatively modern.
- 4 Cuenca - The lower part of the city is modern while the upper part is the historical part and has been declared a World Heritage Site by theUNESCO.
- 5 Horcajo de Santiago - On the border with Toledo province.
- 6 Iniesta - Numerous religious and civil buildings from the 16th century.
- 7 Las Pedroñeras - Known as the "capital of garlic", in fact between July and August there is a great event called "Feria Internacional del Ajo".
- 8 Mota del Cuervo - Since ancient times an important crossroads between the cities of Toledo, Madrid is Cuenca. Its most distinctive feature are its seven windmills located on the hill at the foot of the village.

- 10 Saelices - In the territory of Saelices is located the Segóbriga Archaeological Park, the most important archaeological complex of the Spanish plateau.

- 12 Tarancón - The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption has been declared of cultural interest.
- 13 Uclés - With the impressive monastery built between the 16th and 18th centuries.
