- Huelva - Provincial capital, Huelva is an industrial port with oil refineries and thermoelectric power plants located on the estuary of the Tinto and Odiel rivers. The city is famous for the festivities that take place every year between late July and early August and celebrate the departure of Christopher Columbus for the Americas (Fiestas Colombinas).
