Rafina - Rafina

Rafina (Ραφήνα) is a port ofAttica in Greece where you board for Cyclades.

To know

Rafina has little tourist interest but is an important maritime communications hub with the islands Cyclades and it has been significantly strengthened since the year 2000 to lighten the burden of traffic that weighs on Piraeus, a port that often goes haywire during mid-August and weekends in the summer months; therefore together with Laurium a valid alternative to the port of Piraeus. Since 2011 it is administratively included in the municipality of Rafina-Pikermi.

By bus

A bus service connects Rafina with Athens International Airport. These depart in the arrivals area near exit nº 3. The price of a single journey is € 3.

It is also possible to arrive from Athens with regional buses that terminate near Omonia square.
