The city of Rauenberg is located with the main town Rauenberg and its two districts Rotenberg and Malschenberg on the edge of the Upper Rhine Plain towards the Kraichgau. Neighboring communities are Wiesloch, Dielheim, Mulhouse, Malsch and St. Leon-Rot.
