Rauenberg is a city on the western edge of the Kraichgau.

The city of Rauenberg is located with the main town Rauenberg and its two districts Rotenberg and Malschenberg on the edge of the Upper Rhine Plain towards the Kraichgau. Neighboring communities are Wiesloch, Dielheim, Mulhouse, Malsch and St. Leon-Rot.

- in Malschenberg is this Portuguese Festival always on the 2nd weekend in September. This includes the choice of the Porugies Queen, a pageant and a final fireworks display.
