Wiesloch is a city in the Electoral Palatinate in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Wiesloch includes the Frauenweiler settlement and the formerly independent communities of Baiertal and Schatthausen. The city is on the edge of the Baden Rhine Plain, partly in Kraichgau and at the edge of the Little Odenwald; it belonged to the then Electoral Palatinate until 1803 and then came to the Grand Duchy of Baden.

The station Wiesloch-Walldorf is just outside on the railway lines from Heidelberg above Bruchsal to Karlsruhe and after Stuttgart. Regional trains and lines 3 and 4 of the S-Bahn stop here Mannheim, Heidelberg and Karlsruhe; the tariffs of Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar.

  • The remains of the former city fortifications are still preserved in Wiesloch.
