The 1 Pforzheim central station has direct connections to Karlsruhe and after Mühlacker, Vaihingen an der Enz and Stuttgart.The Nagoldbahn to Horb am NeckarThe Karlsruhe Stadtbahn travels with its line S5 to Pforzheim and on to Bietigheim-Bissingen. The line too S6 drives through Pforzheim and further through the Enztal, it ends in Bad Wildbad.

The park is beautifully situated in a wooded area and presents not only native animals but also rarer species such as otters, bison, lynx and bald ibises. Observation towers and points
- 18 Büchenbronn observation tower. - The tower stands on the 609 m high Büchenbronner Höhe, which is 7 km southwest of the city center in the Büchenbronn district. To climb the 25 m high steel construction from 1884, which is well worth seeing, you have to be a bit free from giddiness (especially since the tower sways a bit). - A project is planned in Pforzheim which, like the well-known wave in Munich's Eisbach, will enable river surfing in the northern Black Forest. A group of students founded an association for planning and financing and carried out numerous preliminary investigations on a voluntary basis. In addition, cooperation partners in research and industry could be found who support the project. There will soon be a unique and interesting offer for river surfing in Pforzheim in the Black Forest. An offer that appeals to young people.
