Enztal - Enztal

The Enztal located in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Regions and places

The Enz rises with two source rivers in the Northern Black Forest. The source of the Große Enz is on Schramberg near Enzklösterle, The Kleine Enz has its source between the Bad Wildbad district of Aichelberg (mountain resorts) and the Simmersfeld district of Aichhalden-Oberweiler. Both unite in Bad Wildbad - Calmbach north of Bad Wildbad. The river continues to flow through in a northerly direction Neuenbürg. In Pforzheim the Nagold flows into the Enz. Now it leaves the Black Forest and overflows Mühlacker and Vaihingen an der Enz by Bietigheim-Bissingen and further after Besigheimwhere it flows into the Neckar. The Enz Valley Cycle Path offers the ideal opportunity to get to know the valley from its source to where it flows into the Neckar.
