Enzklösterle is a state-approved climatic health resort in the upper Enztal.

The climatic health resort Enzklösterle lies in the northern Black Forest between 590 m and 930 m altitude, almost 90% of the district area is forested. The name Enzklösterle goes back to a former Cistercian monastery. The community only became independent in 1935, it was created through the merger of Enzklösterle and Enzthal. The districts still belong to the community Poppeltal, Nuns and Gompelscheuer. In the district of Gompelscheuer is the 1 Enzquelle: here the unite Kaltenbach and the Poppelbach to Great Enz. This is where the 115 km long route begins Enz Valley Cycle Path.

The neighboring communities of Enzklösterle are Bad Wildbad, Simmersfeld, Seewald, Gernsbach and Forbach.

getting there

By train

Enzklösterle has no direct train connection, the nearest train station is in Bad Wildbad. There is a bus connection from there. Most guest houses also offer a pick-up service.

In the street

  • Of Pforzheim one drives on the B294 in the direction Bad Wildbad, in Calmbach you turn off this street onto the L351 to Enzklösterle.
  • Of Freudenstadt from one drives on the B294 in the direction Bad Wildbad. Behind the Seefeld district Urnagold branches the L351 off to Enzklösterle.

By bicycle

Enzklösterle is on Enz Valley Cycle Path, also to Urnagold for Nagoldtal cycle path it is only a few kilometers

The bus route 7780 connects Enzklösterle and its districts with Bad Wildbad and Freudenstadt.

Practical advice

When staying in Enzklösterle, a visitor's tax of € 1.80 per day is payable to the host. Guests receive the upon arrival KONUS guest card, with which you can use buses and trains throughout the Black Forest.
