Rauris is a country of Pinzgau (or district of Zell am See) in SalzburgerLand. The village is located at the foot of the Sonnblick, on the banks of the Rauriser river, in the heart of the Hohe Tauren nature park.

To reach the town by car, leave the B311 freeway a Taxenbach and follow the signs for the Raurisertal following the course of the Rauriser Ache.
On the train
From the station of Taxenbach-Rauris you need to take a bus (Bus 640) to get to Rauris. For info visit the site ÖBB in Italian.
By bus

In several places in the municipality (Bodenhaus, Sportalm and Heimalm) it is also possible to search for gold in the rivers of the area.

Shopping
Most of the shops are located on Marktstraße (including the Billa supermarket), the Spar (supermarket) is located on Sportstraße. It is important to know that all the shops close early in the evening and that practically all (including the supermarkets and the bakery) are closed on Sundays.
