How to orient yourself
How to get
By car
The main islands are easily accessible by car. The E10 route connects Hanøy, in the extreme north-east of the island of Austvagoy, is TO, on the southern tip of Moskenesøy across a series of bridges.
The most natural way to come to Lofoten is by ferry, usually via Moskenes, a few kilometers away. From Moskenes, a bus (40 NOK) reaches Reine several times a day. An alternative is to take a ferry to Svolvær (or a regular ferry, or theHurtigruten), and then take a bus to Reine.
By bus
Several buses a day from Svolvær e Narvik (on the mainland Norway), through a transfer to Leknes.
How to get around
The village is small enough to be completely within walking distance.

What to do
- 1 Reinebringen (West of Reine). A trip to Reine is not complete without a climb to Reinebringen. Be aware that the path is not easy though, and very steep. Even worse, it was heavily damaged after heavy rains in 2015, and the climb is now quite dangerous (a warning was issued at the beginning of the route). It counts about 2h (one way) considering the current status of the route. Of course, once at the top (almost 400 meters above sea level), the view is truly incredible.
