The Southern russia is a region bordering the Central russia and the region of Volga north of Kazakhstan and the Caspian Sea to the east, fromAzerbaijan and the Georgia to the south, the Black Sea and theUkraine West. The south of Russia enjoys a more pleasant climate than in the rest of the country, with seaside resorts on the Black Sea, as well as the mountainous and exotic cultural destinations of the North Caucasus.

The south of Russia is served by rail mainly via Voronezh, since Moscow. Most of these trains go through Rostov-on-Don, then towards Krasnodar Where Stavropol. A rail link has also existed since Kharkiv, in Ukraine for Rostov-on-Don.
There are daily domestic flights from Saint PETERSBOURG and from Moscow to major cities in the region, such as those listed above as well as to the odd airport of Mineralnye Vody.
