At the crossroads of the roads from Clermont-Ferrand to Paris and from Lyon to Limoges, the town of Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule is located in the Bourbonnaise Limagne. It is recognized for its AOC vineyard; it is also a very important city for hosting sporting events (Tour de France - starting city in 2013, as well as the federal international cycle tourism week in 2014).
