  • Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park - Inscribed in the list of World Heritage Sites of HumanityUNESCO, Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park was established to protect a fortress that is among the best preserved in the Caribbean. Erected by the British at the turn of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries to counter the French rule in Caribbean was known as' La Gibraltar of the West Indies'. Despite this the French managed to conquer it in 1782 but the treaty of Paris the following year he returned it to the British.
