San Vito Lo Capo is a city of Sicily, in Trapanese.
To know
Geographical notes
It is located on the west coast of Sicily, on the promontory of Capo San Vito, with the Gulf of Macari and to the east there Riserva dello Zingaro and the Gulf of Castellammare.
When to go
The best season to go to San Vito is summer, although in the months of June, July, August and September the town is full of tourists. For this reason it is also advisable to take advantage of the month of May as there are already summer temperatures but a lower influx of tourists.

How to get around
By car
During the summer, many streets in the center are ZTL. The authorization to park in the center can be collected at the municipal offices. For those wishing to park outside the town there is a free shuttle bus service.

- Riserva dello Zingaro (reachable either by boat or by car). In the reserve there are many coves, it is advisable to bring a mask and snorkel for snorkeling.
- Tuna fish of the dry (3 km east from the center of San Vito). Today no longer used, it has been the location of numerous films and fiction.
- Sanctuary of San Vito Martire and Museum of the Sanctuary.

What to do
The beach is mostly free, however, it is possible to rent umbrellas and sunbeds. Scopello. Some of these have a glass bottom to allow you to admire the extraordinary underwater life of the reserve. The whole town center is full of shops.
During the summer evenings on the seafront (west area) there is a market with toys and beach items (prices can be negotiated).
