Sansepolcro: full screen map.Piazza Torre di Berta, between via Giacomo Matteotti and XX Settembre is the heart of city life. It bears the name of a medieval tower which was destroyed by bombing during World War II. Via Matteotti is surrounded by ancient tower houses. The 17th century Palazzo delle Laudi overlooks it, today the seat of the municipal council.

Events and parties
2008 parade for the Palio della Balestra
- Palio of the crossbow. It is organized by the Crossbowmen Societies of the City of Sansepolcro and takes place on the second Sunday of September, in conjunction with the patronal feast. A historical procession through the city streets starts the races. These consist in hitting a target, called badger and placed at a distance of 36 m from the archers and crossbowmen.
