- 1 Malmö – The third largest city in Sweden, after those of Stockholm and Gothenburg.
- 2 Lund – Student City. Lund University is the largest higher education and research institution in Scandinavia.
- 4 Smygehuk – village and fishing port on the southern tip of Skåne
- 5 Ystad – One of the oldest towns in Skåne, renowned for its many half-timbered houses.
- 6 Simrishamn – Small town with a fishing port on the east coast of Skåne. Nearby is the Glimmingehus, a very well preserved medieval castle. Simrishamn is the most important center of Österlen an informal region in south-eastern Skåne.
- 7 Åhus – Small town with a long beach very crowded in summer. Åhus is the hometown of the famous vodka brand, Absolut.
- 8 Kristianstad – Founded in 1614 by King Christian IV of Denmark as a garrison town, Kristianstad is today an industrial town of some importance.
