Shut up is a city on the Middle Moselle in Rhineland-Palatinate near trier.

The remains of a former Roman villa complex on the eastern edge of Schweich are evidence of Roman settlement. The town of Issel and a number of residential areas belong to the town of Schweich. Schweich is the administrative seat of Verbandsgemeinde Schweich on the Roman Wine Route, to which in addition to the core city another 18 municipalities belong.

Ferry tower

With the Riesling "Schweicher Annaberg" vineyard in the east of the town, Schweich has an excellent south-facing slope that can be reached via the Mathenstrasse entrance at the sports field. At some points in the vineyard you have a wonderful view of the location and the Moselle valley between Quint and Riol.

The place is on the Roman wine route.
