It is a fraction of the municipality of Bregaglia, in Maloja region. Charming village, one of the most beautiful in Switzerland, known for its flowers and frequented by the painter Giovanni Segantini.
Geographical notes
Soglio is located in Val Bregaglia, on the right bank of the Maira river. It is 17 km from Chiavenna, 39 km from Sankt Moritz and 104 km from Chur.

By car
State road 38a leads from Lecco at the northern end of the Lake Como. Here the SS36 branches off towards Chiavenna, which divides you into the SS37 through the Spluga pass and the SS36 through the Maloja pass.
