The Strzyżów promontory is a foothills in the Central Beskid promontory in the voivodeship Subcarpathianthat are located north to the Lower Beskids as well as that Jasło Krosno Basin adjoins and in the north to Sandomir Basin enough. The Bardo is the highest mountain at 562 m. The Wisłok flows around the mountains from the west.
getting there
The area is well developed for tourism. You can arrive via Tarnów.

War cemeteries
At the beginning of the First World War, bitter fighting raged in the mountains between the advancing Russian army and the army of Austria-Hungary. Therefore, there are numerous military cemeteries from the First World War here.
