Bieszczady are a mountain range in the eastern Beskydy Mountains in the voivodeship Subcarpathian in Poland. The Tarnica is the highest mountain at almost 1350 m. The regions most worthy of protection are in Bieszczady National Park protected.

For a long time, the area was considered to be the wild south-east of Poland, but has been more and more developed for tourism in the last few weeks. You can arrive via Rzeszów and Sanok, which is considered the gateway to the region.
