Polańczyk is a spa town in the voivodeship Subcarpathian in the southeast Poland by doing Sanok-Turka Mountains at the foot of the Bieszczady in the Forest Carpathians at the San, which is immediately south of the place for Solina reservoir is jammed.

The place was owned by the Kmity of 1580 Manasterzec and later Lesko first mentioned. In the course of the First Partition of Poland, the place came to the Habsburgs.
