Zagórz is a mountain town on the river San in the voivodeship Subcarpathian in the southeast Poland by doing Buków Mountains at the foot of the Bieszczady in the Forest Carpathians at the mouth of the Osława in the San.

The place was founded in the 14th century. A baroque fortified monastery of the Carmelites was built in the village by 1710, which burned down in 1830. In the course of the First Partition of Poland, the place came to the Habsburgs. After the First and Second World War he became Polish again.

The place invites to hiking and cycling in the nearby mountains, in the cold season for winter sports. The Zakucie ski jump is located in the village. In the shallow mountain brook Osławica, which flows through a depression shaped by Carpathian flies, you can swim wonderfully. At the also nearby Solina reservoir water sports can be practiced.
