Templin is a city in northeast of Brandenburg. The city of Templin belongs to the district Uckermark and is right on Chorin-Schorfheide Biosphere Reserve.

The federal road leads through the village 
from Zehdenick to Prenzlau and the national road L 23 from Lychen to Joachimsthal. The federal motorway runs about 25 km to the east 
from Berlin to Szczecin, with the junctions Pfingstberg and Joachimsthal.
