The Federal motorway 11 (BAB 11 or A 11), at the same time Europastraße 28, leads from the German-Polish border at Nadrensee southwest of Szczecin (Stettin) in extension of the Polish Autostrada A6 through the Uckermark and the Schorfheide to the Berliner Ring (Federal motorway 10) at the Barnim triangle.
The total length of the motorway is 110 km (opposite kilometers from Berliner Ring = 0.0, Nadrensee = 109.9).

The line that was built in the 1930s (Reichsautobahn Berlin-Stettin) was in very poor condition at the beginning of the 1990s, but has since been renewed.
