background
The A 29 is a less traveled motorway in the north of Germany, with an average of around 20,000 vehicles per day. It begins near the Jade-Weser-Port and thus describes one of its main tasks: to facilitate transports from North Sea ports and subsequent cities to the rest of Germany.
Regions
The Federal motorway 29 leads from Ostfriesland by the Oldenburger Land ins Oldenburger Münsterland.
Traffic and security
The motorway is designed with four lanes throughout, i.e. H. two lanes in each direction. Except for the Huntebrücke, the route is flat.
The covering consists of concrete slabs that are laid butted and glued. In 2010, due to the high temperatures, several of them rose by up to 30cm and formed small ramps.[1]
particularities
In the city of Oldenburg, the A 29 together with the A 28 and the A 293 form a city ring.
Route
Within a few kilometers of the exits there are often restaurants, hotels, shops, sights and other things that are worth leaving the motorway.
The route is described from south to north (direction of travel north = ), the kilometer values (only approximate information) are based on the official information, the regions are not precisely located.
