The Federal highway 93 (BAB 93 or A 93) is 276 kilometers long and runs in two sections in a north-south direction. The northern part begins at the Hochfranken motorway triangle court and leads over Willows in the Upper Palatinate and regensburg to the triangle Holledau. There the A 93 is interrupted, you can continue your journey via the A9, A99 and A8 possible. From the Inntal motorway junction on the Federal motorway 8 near Rosenheim the southern section of the A 93 continues to the border crossing Kiefersfelden. The highway leads in Austria further than the A12 motorway from Kufstein to innsbruck.

Blow ups: Subareas in Lower Bavaria (Regensburg - Holledau) and the section between Rosenheim and Kiefersfelden belong to the areas endangered by the dangerous bulging of the concrete carriageway slabs as a result of the heat in midsummer: Drivers are asked to drive particularly carefully at these sections, speed applies 80, even without traffic signs. Motorcyclists should avoid these parts of the highway completely.
