The Federal motorway 24 (BAB 24 or A 24) is part of Europastraße 26 and from the confluence of Federal motorway 19 the Europastraße 55. It connects the Free and Hanseatic City Hamburg with the Berliner Ring, the ring-shaped around Berlin created Federal motorway 10. In its eastern part it also connects Berlin with Rostock with a subsequent ferry connection Gedser in Denmark. The total length of the motorway is 237 km.
