Federal motorway 30

The Federal motorway 30 (BAB 30 or A 30) begins in the west on the German-Dutch border in continuation of the Dutch Rijksweg (motorway) 1 at the border crossing Oldenzaal - Bad Bentheim. It forms a section of Europastraße 30 and runs in a generally west-east direction over the Schüttorf cross, on which it runs the Federal motorway 31 crosses, and north Rheine over to the Lotte / Osnabrück junction, where the Federal motorway 1 is crossed. At the Osnabrück-Süd junction, it crosses them Federal motorway 33. The BAB 30 follows roughly the northern edge of the Teutoburg Forest and leads Melle and Frets over after Bad Oeynhausenwhose motorway bypass was controversial for many years. East of Bad Oeynhausen it joins the von at the Bad Oeynhausen cross Oberhausen coming Federal motorway 2. The total length of the motorway is 136.1 km.
