The Federal motorway 27 (BAB 27 or A 27, sometimes jokingly as Haddock linee) leads from Cuxhaven at the mouth of the Elbe Bremerhaven and the Free Hanseatic City Bremen and continue on Verden past to the Federal motorway 7, which it reaches at the triangle Walsrode. The total length of the highway, which is also the Europastrasse 234 forms is 162 km.
