Federal motorway 12

The Federal motorway 12 (BAB 12 or A 12, also known as the Autobahn of Freedom), also part of Europastraße 30, leads from the Berliner Ring (Federal motorway 10) at the Spreeau triangle to the German-Polish border on the Or South from Frankfurt (Oder) and to the Polish Autostrada A2. It forms (with the German Federal motorway 30, the Federal motorway 2 and the south branch of the Berliner Ring is part of the axis of the important Europastraße 30.

The total length of the motorway is 58 km (kilometers from the Berliner Ring).

The route, which was largely opened in 1937 (with the listed service station Freienwalde), was initially extended to a single lane to the Oder border in 1957; polish Autostrada A2 to Warsaw at.
