Beeskow is the district town of the Oder-Spree district. It is located 80 km southeast of Berlin.

Lower Lusatia begins south of the small town in the Brandenburg region.

The city presents itself defensively with an almost completely preserved city wall at the Spree crossing of the old trade route Frankfurt-Leipzig.

By train

The 1 Beeskow train station is served by the NEB railway line RB 36 every hour during the day. RB 36 runs from Frankfurt (Oder) to Koenigs Wusterhausen, from Berlin you have to change trains.

By bus

Regional buses go to Beeskow from Eisenhuettenstadt, Fürstenwalde and Frankfurt (Oder). The central transfer stop for buses is at the train station.
