The Oder-Spree-Seengebiet located in Brandenburg and together with Märkisch Oderland forms the tourist travel region Seenland Oder-Spree. The Oder-Spree lake area extends southeast of the federal capital Berlin up to the Oder lowlands.

- Bad Saarow - State-approved saltwater and mud spa; SaarowTherme.
- Beeskow - Restored city wall and Beeskow Castle on the outskirts. The Schwielochsee is 10 km south of the city.
- Erkner - here, on the outskirts of Berlin, lived the poet Gerhart Hauptmann. Erkner is also the end point of the Berlin S-Bahn.
- Fürstenwalde - Late Gothic town hall destroyed in the Second World War but rebuilt; St. Marien Cathedral and “Schwapp” adventure pool.
- Garbage rose - the town in the east of the region is the gateway to the Schlaubetal nature park.
- Storkow - Small town on the Storkower See lake of the same name. Not far away are the Scharmützelsee, the Unterspreewald and the Dahmeland.
- Wendisch-Rietz - the southern tip of the Scharmützelsee; state-approved resort.

By train
The journey takes place with the RE1 from Magdeburg to Eisenhuettenstadt (above Brandenburg, Berlin and Frankfurt (Oder)[1], the stop there in Erkner, Fangschleuse, Hangelsberg, Fürstenwalde (Spree), Berkenbrück, Briesen (Mark), Jacobsdorf (Mark), Pillgram, Frankfurt (Oder) -Rosengarten, Frankfurt (Oder), Finkenheerd power station, Finkenheerd, Wiesenau, Ziltendorf and Eisenhüttenstadt, or with the RE2 from Wismar to Cottbus[2].
By car
The Oder-Spree district can be reached via Autobahn 10 via the Erkner exit in the west. The A12 runs right through the district. Furthermore, the federal highways B87, B112, B168, B246 run through the area.
The B87 connects Frankfurt an der Oder and Lübben (Spreewald) and runs through Müllrose and Beeskow, with Müllrose and Beeskow each having a bypass.
The B112 leads from Frankfurt an der Oder via Eisenhüttenstadt to Guben and Forst (Lausitz).
The B168 leads from Müncheberg via Fürstenwalde (Spree), Beeskow and Lieberose to Cottbus, where Fürstenwalde has a bypass road. The B246 leads from Königs Wusterhausen (Dahme-Spree district) via Storkow (Mark) and Beeskow to Eisenhüttenstadt.

Tourist Attractions
- Steinhöfel Castle near Fürstenwalde in the late classical style is one of the most beautiful aristocratic residences in the Mark Brandenburg. The castle, which is surrounded by a landscaped garden, was extensively restored in 2000 and is now a hotel.
- Castle Estate Alt-Madlitz with landscape park, about halfway between Fürstenwalde and Frankfurt (Oder).
