Tirschenreuth is a city in Naabtal in the Pen country north of the Upper Palatinate Forest and south of the Fichtelgebirge.

The day pass for the second class costs 24 € (200 Kč in the Czech Republic) (plus 2 € in Germany if you buy at the counter) for the first person. For the 2nd to 5th person, the surcharge is 8 € (100 Kč) each. You can make any number of trips with the participating transport companies on the day of validity until 3:00 a.m. the following day. In addition, you are allowed to take 3 children between 6 and 14 years and any number under 6 years with you. One bike per person is also free of charge. The surnames and first names of all travelers must be entered in block letters on the ticket, identification must be carried.

- The city Museum is housed in the former monastery on Hochwartstrasse, it gives an insight into the history of the city.

Topics are river fishing, pond management and fishing in the Tirschenreuth area from the 11th century to the present day, with four large aquariums.Open: Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- 2 City parish church of the Assumption, Kirchplatz 1, Kirchplatz 2. The parish church from 1299 with a Gothic choir in a baroque building. The winged altar from the late Gothic period, the only one of its kind in the Upper Palatinate, is worth seeing.
- 3 Fatima Church, at Luitpoldplatz. From 1858.
- 4 New Saint Peter Church, St.-Peter-Strasse 38. The hexagonal New Saint Peter Church was built in 1963. Four of the six walls have blue and purple windows, the roof has the shape of a tent and behind the altar there is a picture of Christ as a mosaic.
- 5 Old Saint Peter Church, Near St.-Peter-Straße. Probably the first church in town.
- 6 Cemetery church, Friedhofweg 2, Friedhofweg 4.
- 7 Church of the Redeemer. The only Protestant church.
- 8 Jakobuskirche, in the district of Marchaney.
- 9 Vorholzkapelle, Franz-Heldmann-Strasse 31.
- 10 Murschrottkapelle, Dr.-Hauer-Weg 3, near St.-Peter-Straße, St.-Peter-Straße.
Buildings
- 11 town hall, Maximilianplatz 35. The town hall, built in the Renaissance style between 1582 and 1583, was moved from the middle of the market square to the row of houses on the upper market square in 1814 after the great city fire.
- Klettnersturm. The landmark of the city is the Klettnersturm, a remnant of the old city fortifications.
- 12 Fischhofbrücke. The bridge is a stone bridge over a former, now drained city pond, over to the Fischhof, today's district court.
