Schwandorf is a city in the Upper Palatinate. It is the district town of the district of the same name and is located in the so-called "Schwandorfer Senke" in Naabtal.

Due to its location on the Highway 93 Court - regensburg Schwandorf is well connected to the north-south road traffic. Departures are 32 Schwandorf-North, 33 Schwandorf-Mitte and 34 Schwandorf-Süd. From direction Nuremberg if you take the Autobahn 6 to 67 Amberg-Ost / Schwandorf / Cham and then the federal highway 85 to the Schwandorf exit.
The European Goethe Street leads from the Czech Karlovy Vary via Weiden, Schwandorf, regensburg and innsbruck until after Venice.
