Lindau (Bodensee) is the administrative seat of the district of the same name in Bavaria Administrative region of Swabia. The city is the most south-westerly municipality in the Free State of Bavaria and is located on the northeastern bank of Lake Constance in the border triangle between Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
