Kressbronn on Lake Constance is a municipality in the region Swabian Lake Constance in the south East Baden-Württemberg.

The community Kressbronn is quite young in its current form. It did not emerge until 1934 from the congregations that had already grown together Hemigkofen and Nonnenbach and was named Kressbronn after a small district on the shores of Lake Constance. The history of the two original communities and their numerous hamlets and farms is closely linked to the Counts of Montfort, who lived in neighboring Tettnang resided.
