On June 16, 2007 the 10th anniversary of the approx. 2 km long bicycle traffic facility between Lünzen and Grauen was celebrated. At this celebration, the groundbreaking ceremony for the extension of the route to Hemslingen was also carried out. The extension to Hemslingen is approx. 4 km long.
At the ceremony was next Uwe Seeler also the cycling legend Rudi Altig came. The competent Lower Saxony minister from Hanover was also present.
The income from the festival flowed to the Uwe Seeler Foundation to, which supports people in need through no fault of their own.
