Geographical notes
Excavated by the Masino stream, which descends from Pizzo Badile, it presents tributary valleys such as Val di Spluga and the val dei Bagni, known for its hot thermal waters, and from which you can reach the southern side of the Shovel lace; on the left the valley of Sasso Bisolo and the val di Mello, famous for those who practice bouldering.

Itineraries
- Path Rome (for experienced hikers). With its 54 km. is one of the most spectacular hiking trails of Alps: allows you to cross Val Masino and Val di Mello, covering the entire route in three or more days. It takes place between the high granite mountains, including the Badile, the Cengalo and the top of Castello, and ends at the foot of the Monte Disgrazia. Average altitude 2,500 m.
