Urban centers
- Aprica - On the pass between Valtellina is Valcamonica, is a popular ski resort.
- Morbegno - More populous center later Sondrio, its past commercial fortunes were linked to via del sale which crosses the San Marco pass reached the Bergamo area, the land of the Serenissima.

- Masino baths - located at 1172 m. above sea level, the thermal properties of its waters are already known in the fifteenth century, and exploited since the sixteenth century above all by the Lombard nobility who combined thermal treatments [1] and summer stay in this wonderful part of Valtellina.

- 3 Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP), Ferno (150 km). The airport has two terminals (T1 and T2), the second is used for low cost flights. The bus service Motorway connects the airport with Milan central station in about 50 minutes, while the Malpensa Express it connects Terminal 1 with Cadorna station (red and green line underground) in 40 minutes.

Every day: 07.00-12.15; 14.30-19.00. May: open on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Open every day from June to September. The church, considered the most important religious monument in the Valtellina, was built between 1505 and 1513 following a miraculous apparition of the Virgin Mary to the blessed Mario Omodei. The church was designed by Tommaso Rodari. The interior is developed in three naves.
- 2 Palazzo Pretorio (Palace of reason), Piazza Campello 1, Sondrio.
Monday to Saturday: from 8:00 to 19:30; Sundays and holidays: from 9:00 to 19:30. Today the seat of the municipality of Sondrio, a museum has been opened inside the building. Among the works on display we remember a fresco by Cesare Ligari depicting Justice.

What to do
From Tirano part there Bernina railway leading up to Sankt Moriz. The railway, which offers breathtaking views in all seasons, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
