the Pomerol AOC vineyard is located north-east of Libourne around the town of Pomerol, in the heart of Bordeaux vineyard which includes all the vines of the Gironde department, in the southwest of the France in the region New Aquitaine

Pomerol vineyard
- The Pomerol vineyard is located in the Gironde department, in the part of the Bordeaux vineyard called the Libournais, on the right bank of the Dordogne just upstream from its confluence with the Isle.
- The part of the municipality of Libourne entitled to the Pomerol appellation is limited to the north by the Barbanne river, to the east by the limit of the municipality of Pomerol, to the south by the Tailhas stream, to the west by the departmental road 910, the boulevard Beauséjour, the avenue Georges Clemenceau, the rue du Docteur-Nard, the avenue de l'Europe and the railway line from Libourne to Bergerac.
- The part of the commune of Lalande-de-Pomerol entitled to the Pomerol appellation is limited to Château de Sales
