Overview Xochicalco
The place was from around 200 BC. settled for around 1000 years. The name comes from the Nahuatl language in central Mexico and roughly means "place of the flower house". The builders are not exactly known, influences of several cultures can be determined from practically all of Central America. Clear influences can be found here in architecture and religion Teotihuacan but also from the Maya region 1000 km away.
