Worth seeing

Nearest neighborhood

In the immediate vicinity it is definitely worth visiting Maksimir Park. The way from the center takes about 10 minutes, for those traveling by tram. In its area you will find not only green areas, but also an artificial lake, an astronomical observatory building and a zoo.

In the northern part of Zagreb you can go to Medvednica Nature Park. Here, hiking enthusiasts can climb to the top of Slijeme 1030 m above sea level (about 4 hours walking).

On the other hand, on the slopes of Medvednica, near the settlement of Gajnice, there is the largest cave in Croatia - Veternica Spilja. The corridors in it are about 7 kilometers long, but only two and a half kilometers of the total are available to tourists.

Apart from the center, there are also many attractive places in Zagreb. The capital of Croatia[1] it is not the Old Town and the Lower Town itself.
