The zec Casault is a controlled exploitation zone of Quebec located in Gaspesie.
Understand
Zec Casault is a hunting and fishing area of 838 km2 located in the Matapedia valley on the Gaspé Peninsula. It is famous for moose hunting and brook trout fishing.
It borders on the wildlife reserves of Matane and of Duniere to the north as well as to the Rivières-Matapédia-et-Patapédia wildlife reserve West.

- Observation towers – The territory of the zec includes several observation towers. The view from that of Lake Huit-Milles is particularly remarkable.

- Canoeing and boating – On one of the many lakes. The zec rents canoes and kayaks.
- Big game hunting – Moose, black bear, white-tailed deer.
- Small game hunting – Hare, ruffed grouse, coyote.
- Peach – Total of nine lakes for fishing. The main species caught is brook trout. The rivers and streams are also suitable for fishing.
- Hiking – Several hiking trails in a magnificent natural setting.

In addition to the campsites with services below, scattered camping is possible, i.e. the location without service is at the user's choice. The Zec Casault also allows the storage of recreational vehicles for the winter season. The zec also offers the rental of picnic tables.
