The community Angelbachtal lies in the west Kraichgau
background
The community Angelbachtal consists of the two districts Eichtersheim and Michelfeldwho joined forces in 1972 as part of a community reform. The flows through the two districts that have grown together Waldangelbach or short Angelbachwho at Wiesloch reached the Rhine plain.
The place is on the Kraichgau-Stromberg wine route, the wine from around 50 hectares of vineyards is largely marketed in-house.

Angelbachtal has no direct connection to the rail network, the next train stations are in Sinsheim, Wiesloch and Bad Schönborn.

Eichtersheim
Eichtersheim has belonged to Baden since 1806, before it was owned by the Barons of Venningen. A number of buildings from this time have survived.
- The 1 Moated castle from the 16th century, once the seat of the Barons of Venningen. Today the building serves as the town hall, in it is also a permanent exhibition about Friedrich Hecker
- The great 2 Castle park with a population of old trees is the center of some festivals
- 3 The Catholic Church, formerly the Castle Church
- 4 Protestant church
- 5 Friedrich Hecker's birthplace, formerly the Venningen Rent Office.
Michelfeld
- The 6 Castle from the middle of the 18th century, formerly owned by the Counts of Gemmingen-Hornberg.
