Arona (Tenerife) is a city in the south of the island Tenerife.

The original town of Arona is a little above the motorway TF-1 in the south of the island of Tenerife. There were two tourist spots on the city's territory Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas created, other places are Playa las Galletas and Costa del Silencio. A total of over 79,000 people live in the extensive urban area.
