Practical advice

As a tourist city, Costa Adeje is quite clear. You are generous in distributing city maps, but they are also always advertising media. Still, they are very helpful. You can easily find the way to the beach and then you are already at the beach promenade, which extends all the way to Los Cristianos extends. The shopping mile also merges seamlessly into the shopping mile of Playa de las Américas and then into that of Los Cristianos. Here you can shop 24 hours a day, everything your heart desires. Many things are definitely cheaper than in Germany, but be careful, the sellers are very smart. You have to know what you want and, above all, what you don't want.

In Costa Adeje you have a connection to at least one cell phone network almost everywhere. You can also find coin-operated telephones almost everywhere here, but they are becoming fewer and fewer because it is no longer worthwhile for the providers. You can also find internet cafés where you can check your e-mails, and most hotels also offer hotspots (some of which are subject to a charge) where you can access the internet. Post to Germany is usually quick. It is brought quickly to its destination via the many flight connections. So you don't have to worry that the card you write home won't arrive until you are back home.

trips

  • Hiking through the Barranco del Infierno at Adeje

This offer can be found everywhere in the travel guides. Unfortunately you cannot hike there at the moment. Access is blocked. The church has no money to remove the dangers there. There are said to have been deaths from falling rocks.
