Bad Liebenzell is a spa and bathing resort in Nagoldtal.

Bad Liebenzell was first mentioned in a document in the 11th century. The mineral springs have been used since the 15th century. In the last century, the bathing and spa operations were greatly expanded, including the use of the Paracelsus source as mineral and medicinal water.

The city is dominated by the Liebenzell Castle, which was built in the time of the Staufer, belonged to the Counts of Eberstein and was one of the most important castles in the Black Forest.

Today the former parishes still belong to Bad Liebenzell Beinberg, Maisenbach, Monakam, Möttlingen, Unterhaugstett and Unterlengenhardt, they are all above the city center.
